Despite it being somewhat a small country, its traditions and culture are really vast and definitely worth the visit.
OSIR is the acronym for IFMSA – Chile’s Rural Health Operatives. The main goal is to provide health care and education to areas where there is not a hospital or a rural health station near enough to access in an easy and usual way.
What do we do?
We have medical students from every Standing Committee, from first years of medical school to the last one, each one working in different fields according to their medical knowledge.

The fact that inequalities exist within the health system is far from a secret, and also not just a local problem, but it occurs all over the world. We, as future health care professional, have the duty to reverse this situation, and the sooner we begin the better. If this issue is everybody’s concern then maybe we’ll be able to solve it
